Every script must begin with an On-Load trigger, which when using this tool - cannot be deleted. This trigger just contains the actions you want shown on screen when you enter a new instance (or reload UI, login, etc.) You can choose to not show anything for this on-load trigger by setting the Note field to "-1" which tells the WeakAura to display false

To add a new Trigger you just click on the large area below the bottom-most trigger on the page labeled "+ Trigger"
By default the new trigger will be set as an NPC Death type trigger which expects an NPC ID and a number of kills.

• NPC Death: Triggers after the given NPC ID is killed the given number of times since the previous trigger was active. This means kills of a given NPC ID are not counted until the previous trigger in the script is completed.
• Encounter Start: Triggers at the beginning of an encounter. This is most useful for reminders of what you need to do mid-fight or just after. Actions that require a combat drop should not use this trigger type.
• Encounter End: Triggers at the end of a successful encounter. This will not trigger on a wipe and thus can be used for actions that should be taken directly after an encounter safely.

Within each Trigger section on the page you will see a button labeled "+ Action" with a smaller dropdown arrow to the right. You can either simply click the button to add a blank action to the trigger, or click the dropdown arrow to select one of the preloaded items for quick access.

Actions can be either Item or Spell IDs, select using the dropdown which type of action you want and then input the Item or Spell ID which you can find on wowhead or various in-game tooltip addons that show this data. With both item and spell IDs we can cover pretty much every icon available in-game.

To delete a trigger (other than the on-load trigger) you can double click on the trigger and a confirmation message to delete the trigger will appear below it.

To delete an action you can choose the "delete" option in the dropdown box if there is at least 2 actions. If only 1 action exists for a trigger the delete option will not be available.

Drag and drop triggers to re-order them

Actions cannot be re-ordered at this time. But you can simply make a new trigger ahead of the previous and then delete the original trigger to pseudo re-order them. I may add this feature at some point.

To import a script click the "Import/Export" link in the top-right corner of the screen. Paste in the script you wish to import and click "Import/Overwrite". It's important to note, this will overwrite any existing data in the app so be cautious.

When you click the "Import/Export" link you will notice any trigger/action data in the app will get converted to an output script. You can either copy/paste the script directly into the WeakAura in-game or copy the sharable link at the bottom of the screen to send to others.

Once you have the WeakAura installed, and a script ready to import. Simply select the WA from the side-bar and navigate to the "Custom Options" tab. From there you will see a multi-line text box labeled "Paste Trigger Script here". If there is already text in this box you should clear it and paste your script into the field. Click the accept button below the textbox to confirm.

If everything imported correctly you should see the entire scripts actions displayed in a grid for review. You may need to close and re-open the WeakAuras menu for all of the icons to be loaded correctly.
